In 2000, Lemonts opened its doors in its very first location in Ras Beirut, welcoming its founding class of students. Determined to bring one of the world’s most effective educational philosophies to life in Lebanon, Lemonts became the country’s first Montessori preschool.

Prior to Lemonts, no other educational institution in the country had applied the Montessori system and since its founding, no other educational institution has applied it as comprehensively or precisely.

We believe in the power of the Montessori method to make children learners for life. By encouraging each child to work at their own pace, they become excited to understand even the most complex of ideas, delving into them head, heart and soul first! 

The first 6 years of a child’s life are the foundation for every year after that. Who and what they are surrounded by at this critical time in their lives has a deep impact on their personalities and it becomes incredibly difficult to change after this age. With this in mind, we aim to ensure your child is given the learning experiences they need to carry with them a lifetime of valuable education and enduring passion.

Every child comes to Lemonts with a thirst for knowledge and we aim to keep that thirst alive so that they can head back out into the world more confident, more in control and inspired to know more about the universe and what it holds!
